As there was no one there to check on the day, the calculations above were taken from the provisional results that appeared on the Alsager 5 website the day after the race.

It is still early days in the Grand Prix but there is already a trend developing. We have all heard the phrase... “You have to be in it to win it!” Well, this certainly applies to the GP. Rachel misses a race and drops four places as does Don. Gordon retains his first place on 124 points, followed by Alex 18 points adrift. A further 10 points behind in third spot is Peter who moves up three places from the first race.

Can I remind you all yet again that Rule 7 on the GP Rules requires you to let us know if you enter yourself? Again, we had to discount four results from the GP because this rule had not been noted. If you want to support the GP, then please let us know.

The next race is in a month’s time at Chasetown, the Triangle 10k. This is a multi-terrain race and is one for those of you who like a change from road running! These races were included in the GP by request, so please come along and support us.
