Track and Field

Birchfield Harriers has a long tradition of producing international track and field athletes and only one occasion was there no representative of the club at the Olympic Games. With major medallists in recent years including Kelly Sotherton, Katharine Merry and Mark Lewis-Francis the club is continuing its tradition with the aim of getting a minimum of 12 athletes to the 2012 Olympics.

Our philosophy is for every athlete to achieve their potential and we therefore run teams at all ages to ensure competition is available to all. Current  teams compete in:
